The Ascent (ASCESA in Italian) in climbing is synonymous with challenge, sacrifice, and the desire to reach the summit. Not always, only when the mountain allows it.
With this spirit, Fabrizio Testa, winemaker and guide of the Ascesa project since the first harvest in 2018, approaches every bunch that ripens on the terraces of Valtellina; mountain vines that know how to give endless nuances to our Nebbiolo delle Alpi.
An eclectic grape that expresses the territories in which it is grown, elegant yet pretentious, extremely tannic or softer. A wine that pairs well with both traditional and international cuisine. Fabrizio’s stylistic hallmark is spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, to preserve the fragrance of the grapes and the characteristics of each vineyard.
